Richard's one act plays are often chosen for performance as part of the All England Theatre Festival, a year round competition featuring amateur groups from around the UK.
The contest ends in a final selection of groups competing for various AETF awards.
In 2017, Richard was delighted to see that he had been the third most performed playwright of that year, just behind some upstart called Alan Ayckbourn...
